Spain is a great place to live and teach English as a foreign language. I’ve been here for almost seven years and am planning to be here for a while. The good thing about Spain is that there are many places to find a job teaching English. If you’re qualified and have experience then there are plenty of opportunities. There might be a crisis in Spain, but the EFL industry is booming.
Here are a few essential resources if you’re thinking of coming to Spain or are already here.

TEFL courses in Spain
There are tons of places to do TEFL courses in Spain. Whether you’re interested in a CELTA or DELTA there are plenty of options. I have to recommend i-to-i TEFL courses as one of the leading companies to do online courses.
Teach English Worldwide has a massive list of CELTA and TESOL courses all over the country.
TEFL jobs in Spain
Once you’re qualified then get job hunting. The best time to find a job is in September just before term starts, after Christmas, or after Easter.

Spain.info is worth having a look. The site has useful articles about travel, food, festivals, and things to see and do.
You can’t beat Lonely Planet for up-to-date information plus some great city guides.
I’m not a massive fan of the Frommers guide books, but the website is pretty good.
