I’m a simple man, lead a simple life, and don’t rely heavily on resources while teaching English as a foreign language. I’ve never been one for overloading students with a small pine trees worth of photocopies per class, or plying them with sheet upon sheet of grammar exercises. I like to keep things simple, and ultimately, get most of my resources from the students themselves.
I’ve recently become a blogger for the British Council’s blog: Teaching English, where I’ll be posting regularly. My first blog is connected with resources and deal with whether we actually need resources, the types of lessons which nee minimal resources, and advice for new teachers who are not sure how to handle such intense lessons. You can have a look at the blog here titled Who needs resources?
I hope you enjoy it.
